Clute Memorial Park

Clute Memorial Parkencompasses 35 acres of lakefront property including a swimming beach, campsites (RV and tent), pavillions, baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, playground, volleyball, bocce and basketball courts, fishing access, and public boat launch.

The newest addition to this beautiful park is the Lakeside Skate Park open to skateboarders, in-line skaters and bmx bikes. On the waterfront side of the park there is a parking fee and grills are available.

Several popular festivals are held at the park each summer including theItalian American Festival and the July 4th Festival.

Clute Park is owned and operated by the Village of Watkins Glen.


Havana Glen Park

Located1/2-mile south of Montour Falls off State Route 14 is the beautiful Havana Glen. The Glen, taking its name from the original name of the village, Havana, extends over 40 acres of native wooded area.

A large picnic area with campgrounds, pavilions, playground, restrooms and parking are availble. There is no entrance fee -there is a small fee to park. The 1/4 mile walking trail alongside the creek to Eagle Cliff Falls will be the highlight of your day!


Lafayette Park

Layfayette Park, located on the corner of Decatur and 4th Streets in the Village of Watkins Glen, is home to the popular outdoor summer concert series Concerts in The Park. Sit back and relax in the cool shade on the town square or dance the night away. Make sure to bring your lawn chair!


Smith Park

Smith Park and Campground, located on the shores of Seneca Lake, is owned and operated by the Town of Hector. This popular lakeside park, located off State Route 414 at Peach Orchard Point, has lake swimming, picnic tables and a pavilion.

Arnot Forest

The Arnot Forest helps support the teaching, extension, and research mission of the Department of Natural Resources and Cornell University. These opportunities are provided in the context of a multiple-use, managed forest, producing timber and maple products and providing recreational opportunities for the public.

The Arnot Teaching and Research Forest, located in Schuyler County,is open to the public and the following activities are permitted during hours of operation: Small game and deer hunting on an annual fee basis.


Day activities such as picnicking, hiking, skiing, bicycling, fishing (restricted in some areas), and nature study are welcomed year-round. Camping is not permitted. The field campus is available for organized group use on a reservation basis. Check with the Arnot Forest manager for fees and reservation policies.
